On Bank Holiday Monday, we were treated to a fabulous staff event in London.
The day started with breakfast at the Marriott London Hotel with stunning views overlooking the Thames, the Houses of Parliment and Big Ben.
The London Eye
We were then whisked off to the London Eye where we enjoyed champagne and canapes whilst taking in the panoramic views of London.
London Luxury River Cruise
Shortly after, we sailed off on our very own luxury charter down the Thames at the same time enjoying a 4 course meal. Entertainment was provided by Paul Megram, a magican, who wowed us with his incredible tricks. We’re still trying to work out how he got a signed £20 note inside a Crunchy!
The Tower of London
The day ended with a private tour of the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. We saw the amazing collection of crowns including the most regularly used crown by the Queen today; the Imperial State Crown. Not only that, we were lucky enough to be introduced to the legendary ravens. At least 6 ravens are at the Tower at any one time and the story claims that if they left, the White Tower would fall and a great disaster befall the Kingdom.
