Do I have to pay a deposit?

No. A deposit is not required however we do ask for your first payment up front. We have 3 possible payment options; 4 weeks, 13 weeks or 26 weeks. The longer you pay up front, the cheaper the weekly rate becomes. If you move out before the end of the payment period we will reimburse you for any time the unit is not occupied. However there is a minimum stay of 4 weeks.

Do I need to bring any id to secure the unit?

No id is required. Just an upfront payment of 4, 13 or 26 weeks depending on which payment option suits you best.

What is included in the price?

The price quoted includes VAT, a padlock and content cover. There are no hidden extra costs.

Do you charge to access the unit?

Access is completely free. You can come and go as many times as you need during our office hours. For office hours see below.

How much notice do I need to give before I move out?

We require two weeks’ notice prior to leaving the unit. You can let us know by email, phone or just pop in and see us. A refund will be given to the nearest full week that the unit is not occupied. Please note that there is a 4 week minimum rental period.

Can I change the size of my unit if I need more or less space?

Of course, as long we have a unit available. We will transfer any credit across to the new room and you can carry on as usual.

What is the minimum stay period?

The minimum stay is 4 weeks.

What are the opening hours?

Office hours are as follows:
Mon-Fri 7:30am – 6pm
Sat 9:30am – 2:30pm
Sundays & bank holidays – CLOSED

Is insurance included in the price?

As part of our standard T&Cs, we provide contents cover for your goods in store to the value of £40 per square foot of rented space and subject to a maximum of £5000 in any one unit on an indemnity basis. Our maximum responsibility for any single article will be £500 subject to independent valuation. For further information please refer to our T&Cs.

What can’t be stored?

Food or perishable goods (unless approved by us)
Combustible/flammable materials, liquids or gases
Any illegal items
High value items requiring specialist storage without our previous knowledge

We offer a wide range of packing materials at competitive prices, van rental from small transits to Luton vans, secure mail boxes providing you will a REAL address rather than a PO Box number and office rentals. Just pop in or give us a call to discuss your individual requirements.
