Removal services:
Local or National Removal Services tailored to suit your needs: Space Saver Storage will be pleased to arrange your move into or out of our storage facilities, from organising van rental to packing and removal services for your goods; whether you require a simple man and van service or a full house operation, we can arrange this all for you.
We work closely with the majority of Kent’s leading van rental and removal service companies; many of whom use our facilities on a regular basis.

and we will ensure you get experienced, cheerful and willing hands to make
your move a simple and pleasurable experience.
Before you move or store:
Ensure you have suitable packing materials. Defrost, drain and wipe down freezers, refrigerators and washing machines. Leave doors open for ventilation. Please remember, we cannot allow consumables into our storage facilities.

We can supply everything you need to ensure safe, secure wrapping and storage of all your personal or professional possessions.

NB. All prices include VAT and discounts may apply to larger quantities.
Packing tips:
Remember to label all boxes with their contents and/or destination using a thick black marker pen - especially fragile items!
Large items - should be separated by blankets, cardboard or cushions. If you are going to dismantle any larger pieces remember to tape the screws and fittings to the items that they were removed from.
Smaller items - should all be placed in boxes to allow for efficient stacking in the van or storage units.
China and glass - should be wrapped in bubble wrap or packing paper and placed into boxes with a layer of bubble wrap at the top and bottom of the box. Please note that using newspaper may mark your belongings.
Plates and saucers - should ideally be wrapped and placed on their edge within the box. Books - should be stored in smaller boxes to keep the weight to a manageable level.
Clothing - must be clean and dry. Clothing can be stored within boxes, drawers or suitcases. We will supply wardrobe cartons for all your hanging items.
Electrical items - are best stored in their original boxes, however, if these are unavailable then wrapping them in bubble wrap should be sufficient. Garden equipment - should be clean and drained of any fuel.
